The photo of the largest Marie Claire Maggie on the cover I could find. This is gonna be her year, with five movies in a row: "Monster House", "WTC", "Trust the Man", "Sherrybaby" (September) and "Stranger than fiction" (October).
Welcome, Simon! I know a bit about Mr. Halsman, a fantastic photograher who portraited the prosperous American society in his time. (among them, he photographed Marilyn Monroe for "Life" magazine in 1952) You've given me an idea, Simon, about some Marilyn -one of my favourite cinema icons- poses that could relate to Jake Gyllenhaal. A next experiment, I guess ;)
All these b&w portraits are awesome, Simon, thanks for your links, definitely Dali's ones are surrealist and oniric, Halsman was a popular and also an advantgarde photographer!
