The Bubble Bride

THE BUBBLE BOY

"There was a boy, who lived in a bubble.
Germs, they feared, would bring him trouble!

He fell in love, with the girl next door.
Said his Mom, she's just a whore!

Many good times, they had together,
although the boy, was kept on a tether.

Alas for him, she got engaged.
It threw the boy, into a rage.

So he took off, to track her down.
Even though, he looked like a clown!

He finally found her, in spite of all,
because he followed "True Loves Call".

To be his bride, she did agree.
Of his bubble, he was finally free."

I asked him for permission to post some of his poems. Roconner is our "private laureate poet", don't you think, Simon?
