Donnie Darko Poem

"AMAZING STORIES FORBIDDEN CHAPTER"

"He has fallen in the dreams of somebody, it remains the same scene on the screen,
through the junctions of the television set the blood flows hauntingly clean.
After collapsing, his prescription is tolueno, inexpressable Placidyl pill.
His vision field is based on an infinitesimal infest of a new insectile...
During a fraction he is seeing his image and the dining room,
at least it's what he thinks,
I'm such a loon,
in the film reel, alternating and turning his gear wheels Donnie sinks,
until the point and the line that forms a few atoms of each gear to surmenage.
The forks perforating his flag on the ceiling, undoing the package,
Hiding his placebos, a back giant pink spot arises and fixes in his grimaced face.
He sleeps soft and there it is the sequence. The image tube makes it wait and arrive.
It is disconnected and goes away. Donnie is travelling, feeling divided.
His blue eyes in a route map to Selten City, to the crowd dive.
The future will let be outlined like abstract besieged by past.
Miss Sandrace of Palm Springs beaches she is not.
A ruthless muse of an indie rocker which was really hot?
Donnie tells foreigners he met a girl who drives him nuts,
that her fiancèe name is Gretchen Ross.
She looks like a ray of old Europe, a trace of a gloss.
He had dreamt when he remained slept in her land.
He unzipped his trousers every night with his left hand.
He had seen a forbidden chapter of Amazing Stories.
There was a perverse magician showing chops and gories,
who extracted from a top hat a terrific rabbit with enormous teeth.
Glut the market, he said to the rabbit whose eyes were so red lit,
flouting of Donnie. I missed watching that chapter, Gretchen told him.
It wasn't more than an inoffensive rabbit, Gretchen asks what did it seem?
when the magician removes it to the outside: a monster-rabbit Donnie replies.
Gretchen dropped some tears when Donnie stopped telling the dream.
She knew since then he hadn’t been making it up, Donnie never lied.
The boy who watched cartoons was persecuted by the rabbit and died." (by Kendra)

Selma's Appeal

Sweet Enigma of Natalie

"I've wanted to be an astronaut, a doctor, a vet -these are things I've said in interviews. Before that, I wanted to be a mermaid and a fairy" -Natalie Portman quote.

Déjà-vu, time travel or Deadly is the "male"?

I love that old noir-film about a gun-passionate femme fatale, from Joseph H. Lewis (1949): "Deadly is the female". Peggy Cummings was sexy, and Jake was even mooore sexy as neophyte rifle teen and as Marine sniper. Posted by Picasa

Back to the blonde times

Some people support the theory that they really weren't meant to be, that it was about a dazed messed love, but damn they made a shocking cute couple.

Jake's weird war

"A man fires a rifle for many years. And he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armoury. And he believes he's finished with the rifle. But [...] His hands still remember the rifle"

More Ellen

Call me sentimental, but Ellen Pompeo and me are namesakes in part, and moreover, she was phenomenal in "Moonlight Mile" -her debut in big screen- and as Nicole in brainless comedy "Old School".
I look forward to seeing her soon in "Life of the Party".

When the shy guy met a fab woman

Great film "Moonlight Mile", featuring Ellen Pompeo as Bertie, love interest of Joe Nast, performed in a subtle mood by Jake.

They seem so attractive together despite the age gap.

The Decisive Aura of Maggie

"Secretary" is one of those films I can't live without. And this delicious film improved significatively Maggie's career. Lee Holloway is my heroine.
